Venice Fashion Week 2019 presents Martina Vidal collection 319 with a fashion show, hosted by Palazzo Barbarigo on the Grand Canal.
It is with the spectacular scenery of Palazzo Barbarigo that we will witness Martina Vidal’s fashion show 319, the new collection produced by the atelier of the talented Venetian creative Martina Vidal.
A collection of linen and cotton muslin dresses, skirts, trousers, tops and stoles; all with the embroidered MV heart-shaped logo.
A heart that is a metaphor of love and that combines passion and lace, competence and tradition. A logo that becomes a narration for harmonious and unique collections. A 100% Made in Italy collection, which wants to stand out but remain – at the same time – simple and original.
The appointment is on March 30th at 7.30 pm at the suggestive location of Palazzo Barbarigo on the Grand Canal. This event marks one of the milestones of the Venice Fashion Week – Spring Edition, the event that celebrates Venetian fashion, this year dedicated to creative women involved in slow fashion.
These are women like Martina, who with her collections perfectly expresses the link to the Venetian tradition and in this case to Burano Island art of the lace.
Born in 1990 as a small artisan workshop named Merletti d ‘Arte Martina, right on the island of Burano, Atelier Martina Vidal now boasts a showroom of nearly 400 square meters.
In 2010 the two siblings, Martina and Sergio Vidal launched the new brand Martin Vidal Venezia; the MV logo is represented by a calligraphic trait and it is the protagonist of this year’s spring-summer collection.
From fine dresses to luxury linens, from home lace and linen collections inspired by Venice, Martina Vidal perfectly expresses the mission of Venice Fashion Week 2019: to present to the public the protagonists of the Venetian slow fashion; a sustainable fashion aimed at innovation but capable of preserving all the traits of craftsmanship and traditions.
During the evening at the Hotel Palazzo Barbarigo we will toast with Villa Sandi’s. Opere Serenissima wines.
