Salvadori Diamond Atelier: jewels in Venice since 1857

In the three boutiques of the historic centre of Venice, Salvadori Diamond Atelier offers designer labels of the world’s top watch-making and jewels made with the highest quality diamonds signed by Marzia Pendini

The Salvadori Diamond Atelier boutique was founded in 1857 in Venice.

Member of the world’s largest diamond stock exchange, in Antwerp and Tel Aviv, it is here that they buy all their diamonds accompanied by GIA and HRD certificates. Salvadori offers a very high quality standard that includes only the highest quality stones.

Each Salvadori diamond has excellent cutting characteristics to enhance its light to the best. Salvadori makes every jewel with its own VE370 mark and its own name and each of its designs is subject to copyright.

But how is a jewel born?

It is born from the passion and, in a way, the vocation to precious stones of Gabriele Pendini, founder of the company, who used to travel to the places of origin together with his wife Carla, for the purchase and selection of the precious stones.

Currently Carla has become President of Salvadori, side by side to her daughters Monica and Marzia; on the one hand the entrepreneurial spirit of Monica, Commercial Director, on the other the creative spirit of Marzia, Artistic Director responsible for the entire production of Salvadori jewels.

For Marzia, the preciousness of the diamond goes beyond its commercial value. Her work begins with the drawing and like any artist it can take her a few days as well as weeks or months to find the inspiration to create a new jewel: a ring, a pendant or earrings.

This is how the Summer Rain Collection was created, from the rhythmic beats of the summer drizzle, the Ducale and Ca d’Oro Collections are reinterpretations of the architectural motifs of our beautiful city, the Abbraccio Bracelet or the new collection “Il Sogno Salvadori”, presented in preview during Venice Fashion Night 2016 and dedicated by Marzia Pendini to her father and founder of Salvadori, Gabriele Pendini.

Part of the proceeds of the “Il Sogno Salvadori” collection helps AIL Venezia, the Italian Association against Leukemia, while part of the entire proceeds of all the Salvadori boutiques goes to support various humanitarian projects in collaboration with Action Aid Italy Onlus.
