Craftsmanship, business, the transmission of knowledge, and digital innovation for the future of Made in Italy are the themes presented by Venice Fashion Week on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Palazzo Ferro Fini in Venice for Sustainable Fashion Day.
The 2023 study Economy of Beauty by Banca Ifis confirms the essential role of expertise in the production excellence of Italian manufacturing and demonstrates that Made in Italy manufacturing and the work of master artisans generate wealth. However, the artisanal business system urgently needs to support generational turnover by involving young people. For this reason, Master Artisans are calling for new school curricula and training provided by artisanal enterprises.
With Sustainable Fashion Day 2023, Venice Fashion Week addresses fundamental themes on the future of Made in Italy at Palazzo Ferro Fini, headquarters of the Regional Council of Veneto, alongside experts in sustainability, economy, marketing, education, and craftsmanship.
