Carlos Tieppo, the creative director of the Teatro La Fenice costume atelier, will show what happens just before stepping onto the stage, preparing a model as if she were a singer about to enter the scene. Glass, Silk, Venice
Hotel Palazzo Paruta presents three Venetian tailoring brands and a creative artisan: the silk garments of the Sorelle Moretti, the sustainable fashion of Gabriella Marin, the glamorous fashion of Arnoldo e Battois, with the jewelry of Marisa Convento, impiraressa.
Palazzo Paruta is a noble residence of the Paruta family, Venetian patricians since 1381, experts in the art of silk. The palace tells the story of Venice with sumptuous rooms and antique tapestries. The evening created by Venice Fashion Week presents four expressions of Venetian fashion and creativity connected to the art of silk, glass and sustainability.
The Sorelle Moretti carry forward their father Andrea Moretti’s project: bringing the marvelous colors of Venetian murrine onto silk, which we will see worn as garments conceived by the sisters Giovanna, Carlotta and Orsola Moretti and created by two sustainable seamstresses and designers: the Venetian Alessandra Micolucci (whom we saw at the Hotel Bonvecchiati at the opening and will see on Saturday, October 26 at 2 PM at Unisve) and the Veneto-based Gabriella Marin.
Sustainability and innovative materials, creativity and tailoring: Gabriella Marin is a Veneto designer in love with Venice. At Palazzo Paruta she presents her collection of tailored garments made of silk, mint fiber, eco-organic bamboo fiber and other sustainable fabrics.
Historic craftsmanship and glamorous originality are the characteristics of the fashion of Silvano Arnoldo and Massimiliano Battois. From the Atelier of Roberta di Camerino to international runways, the story of the two Venetian designers is a triumph of colors and precious materials, and focuses on handbags handmade on the Brenta Riviera.
Vintage antique beads and pearls created to design by glass artists from Murano: the jewelry accessories of Marisa Convento are all unique pieces of artistic craftsmanship, incredible wonders like the corals that are the trademark of the impiraressa, an ancient and very rare Venetian craft.
Hotel Palazzo Paruta, Campo Sant’Angelo.
