A tribute to Rebirth through images. This is the theme of Venice Photo Lab in its third edition from October 8 to 17, 2021 in Venice
Venice Photo Lab is an event dedicated to contemporary photography that presents its third edition in Venice from October 8 to 17, 2021 with the theme of Rebirth.
Rebirth to redesign the future and continue to share between people and emotions, as the curator himself, Fabio Cavessago, tells us: “A passion is reborn when people meet and exchange ideas. Culture is reborn when lived experiences fill our gazes with new nuances. A place is reborn when it is once again filled with voices.”
Venice Photo Lab is a partner event of Venice Fashion Week.
Photography and the Unione Stuccatori di Venezia
60 artists from around the world with international awards, such as Maurizio Galimberti, Tatsuo Suzuki, Guido Stazzoni and Hardi Budi are on display for the third edition of Venice Photo Lab, a project organized by LAB77 in collaboration with UNI.S.VE and the Do.Ve association.
A collective exhibition of life stories, highly personal interpretations of visual art in vibrant images that strike, provoke reflection or bring a smile. The works are displayed within the spaces of the UNI.S.VE artistic restoration workshop to merge concept and aesthetics in a close relationship: on one side photography, a dynamic, innovative and contemporary art form, on the other tradition, the craftsmanship of artisans and restorers.
To amplify this union between the arts, the opening on Saturday, October 9 from 5:30 PM will feature a musical performance by violinist Eleonora de Poi.
The exhibition is free and is also an opportunity to visit a magnificent Venetian space: the headquarters of the Unione Stuccatori di Venezia UnisVe at Dorsoduro 3077, between Campo San Barnaba and Campo Santa Margherita.
Join us on Saturday, October 9 from 5:30 PM to follow the event live on Instagram at @veneziadavivere@veneziadavivere.
