Ve.NICE Stuff Independent Design from 5 to 8 Dicember 2019
The 6th edition of Ve.nice Stuff opens on Thursday 5 December at 2 pm. The long-awaited independent event dedicated to contemporary artisan design has been created by Kanz Architects, who for five years have made us discover some of the most interesting productions of authors involved in a research for an authentic, courageous and also experimental design. The artisan know-how ” that guarantees a sustainable production, relevant in complex historical centers like ours” is the protagonist of various events and meetings with designers starting from the Opening Cocktail party on December 5th at 6.00 pm.
Until December 8th at the Uni.s.ve headquarters at Ponte dei Pugni it is possible to discover and buy design and handicraft products from fashion to the home, from jewelry to graphics, from lighting to designers furnishing accessories, in order to discover, promote and enhance traditional processes reinterpreted through the contemporary design. The UNISVE Laboratory, now the headquarters of the Stuccatori Veneziani Union, has been a productive architecture location since the 1920s, a place that symbolizes the continuity between tradition and modernity.
For the first time this year Ve.NICE Stuff opens its doors to emerging designers with the YOUNG TALENTS section, a space dedicated to young designers offering experimental projects. Among the fashion designers we will meet the sustainable Venetian designer Alessandra Micolucci.
