Isola delle Rose is open to everyone. JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa opens the summer season with a program of events to celebrate its ten years in Venice. Sunset DJ sets, international padel tournaments, fashion and craft events, art encounters, and farm-to-table gastronomic offerings are experiences accessible even to those not staying at the hotel, thanks to the complimentary shuttle service from St. Mark’s Square. Fashion, music, craftsmanship, and culture in the heart of the island
With a summer program of events dedicated to Venetian design and creativity, Isola delle Rose is a meeting place to experience the lagoon through art, music, fashion, craftsmanship, sports, and gastronomy.
• From June 10 to 12, Giulia Bevilacqua and Antonino Valenti present the new collections of clothing and accessories BVL Venezia and VALENTI in the small church nestled in the island’s park. The creations, made with traditional Venetian materials, involve the craftsmanship of Tessitura Luigi Bevilacqua, along with furlane footwear, couture knitwear, and handmade hats.
• DJ Sets every Sunday from 5 PM to 8 PM on the terrace of the Sagra Rooftop Restaurant, offering a unique perspective on the lagoon at sunset. Admission is free, while reservations are appreciated for table bookings.

“We wanted this to be a destination open to the city as well, with offerings designed for Venetians and for those who wish to experience the lagoon authentically,” explains General Manager Cristiano Cabutti.
The architectural project by Matteo Thun has preserved the island’s original identity, integrating nature and contemporary hospitality: the vegetable gardens and orchards, the park with its century-old olive trees, interact with the 266 rooms and suites, the panoramic spa, the padel courts, the swimming pools, fitness trails, and gastronomic offerings immersed in greenery.
Ingredients harvested daily from the JW Garden and the olive grove supply the island’s restaurants, enhancing a farm-to-table production cycle.
The commitment to sustainability remains at the heart of the management, with Forbes VERIFIED Responsible Hospitality and Green Key certifications, and daily practices of waste reduction and autonomous crop management.
The island of sport between padel and football legends
The two new regulation courts in the island’s park host the first stages of the sporting calendar.
- On June 21 and 22, the GZ19 Padel Tour – Road to Maldives 2025 will take place, an amateur tournament for qualification for the world final scheduled in the Maldives. The project is by JW Marriott Venice and Gianluca Zambrotta, 2006 World Champion, who will lead the matches with other names from international football.
