The Wise Hands of the Designers. The second Venice Fashion Summer fashion show at the Hotel Excelsior on the Lido di Venezia
The Venice Fashion Summer fashion shows continue at the Hotel Excelsior on the Venice Lido. On Thursday 28th of July 2022 from 7 p.m. onwards, a showcase of the talents of seven designers and craftswomen who have chosen Venice to express their idea of sartorial fashion.
The Hotel Excelsior celebrates high fashion in Venice in the white Sala degli Stucchi and presents six brands: Neris Style, épaule 6419, Gaiofatto, Teod’amar, (mine de rien) and Myss Duval.
Beniamina, Francesca, Sabrina and Gaia, Michela, Norma, and Marina. The designers are women who create fashion as a narrative of feelings and lifestyle. Their attention to sustainability is expressed in their research into materials and techniques, with the great responsibility of being witnesses to a heritage of excellence: Made in Veneto.

The Wise Hands of the Designers
Neris Style is the Padua brand of Beniamina Zecchin, master tailor of the National Academy of Tailors and National President of the Tailors and Stylists of Confartigianato. She presents her sartorial collection through the perfection of the fabric cut and the strictly handmade finishing touches.
Sabrina Favaro and Gaia Casale‘s épaule 6419 brand was born in April 2019 from Philomena Sarti’s passion for fine fabrics, tradition, and sartorial craftsmanship. Philomena‘s story is the inspiration for her daughter Sabrina and the very young Gaia for a new generation of all-female designers who create unique outerwear collections. New entry: the under-18 collections.
An essential, geometric, and experimental aesthetic, innovation, and craftsmanship for Michela Gaiofatto‘s Gaiofatto brand. The narrative construction of the Gaiofatto dress expresses the awareness of a demanding and independent woman, who brings out her femininity with rigorous and essential lines and precious materials.
Linen, cotton, silk, velvet, damask, and brocade. Research and quality are the value of Teod’amar, a project by designer Norma Marzà that pursues the objective of keeping Venetian craftsmanship alive. Beach towels, coffees, bags, hats, kimonos, slippers, fascinators, and hair accessories, made by the skillful hands of tailors and craftsmen, tell the story of the Venetian dolce vita.
Silk dresses with unique volumes and geometries. (mine de rien) is the homage to the ancient Florentine artisanship of designer and artist Francesca Venuti, who creates her dresses using the handmade pleating technique. The new capsule collection dedicated to ceremonies features organza dresses with delicate fabrics and three-dimensional effects, creating playful light and shade and enigmatic wavy effects. Geometric cuts and necklines accompany the brand’s black and white leitmotif. We also find the bride, who plays with the volumes of draping, a tribute to the Greek peplos, the dress of the goddesses, as white as the marble of ancient statues, made extremely light by impalpable fabrics.
Myss Duval is the emerging fashion brand of young designer Marina Amicucci. Her bursting fashion reflects passion and research in a unisex style where precious fabrics with geometric textures, silks from Tessitura Luigi Bevilacqua, and disciplined cuts caress sexy shapes and softness, combined with garments for women or men with a universal fit. The new summer capsule collection for Hotel Excelsior pays homage to the French poet Charles Baudelaire and his lyric “Albatro”, the king of the skies. Albatro is therefore a collection of freedom of expression and soul.
