Atelier Aperti 2016-2026: four days of events in the creative studios and artisan workshops of Venice
From April 15 to 18, Venice opens its ateliers, artisan workshops, and creative studios to the public. Atelier Aperti, an initiative conceived and organized by Venezia da Vivere, celebrates its tenth anniversary and is part of the official program for National Made in Italy Day, created by MIMIT – Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.
For ten years, Venice has been opening its ateliers to the public: for the 2016-2026 edition, Venezia da Vivere transforms the event into a map of creativity that reveals a network of over fifty ateliers, workshops, and creative studios, with over one hundred free events.
Murano glass, weaving, paper, ceramics, art printing, lute making, goldsmithing, graphics, basketry, typography, woodworking: Venice’s places of creativity present themselves with events, workshops, fashion shows, music, and laboratories – also for children – with free access, either open or by reservation.
Consistent with the theme of this edition In the Mode, Venezia da Vivere has curated several special events spanning fashion, sustainability, the contemporary use of tradition, and urban regeneration.
