Atelier Aperti 2016-2026: four days of events at creative studios and artisan workshops.
From April 15 to 18, Venice opens ateliers, artisan workshops, and creative studios to the public. Atelier Aperti is an initiative by Venezia da Vivere established in 2016 to celebrate master artisans, introduce craftspeople in their workspaces, and inspire new generations. For ten years, it has presented a program of conferences, encounters, exhibitions, events, itineraries, and receptions.
With free admission or by reservation, the ateliers open to the public with workshops, talks, guided tours, live demonstrations, and hands-on sessions with creators present to discuss materials, techniques, and processes. Conceived and organized by Venezia da Vivere, it is part of the official program of the National Made in Italy Day, created by the MIMIT – Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.
Ten years of events promoting craftsmanship: for the 2016-2026 edition, Venezia da Vivere transforms the event into a map of creativity that reveals a network of over fifty ateliers, workshops, and creative studios, with over one hundred free events.
Murano glass, weaving, paper, ceramics, art printing, violin making, goldsmithing, graphic design, basketry, typography, woodworking: Venice’s creative spaces present themselves with events, workshops, fashion shows, music, hands-on activities—including for children—with free admission, open access or by reservation.
In keeping with this edition’s theme In the Mode, Venezia da Vivere has curated special events exploring fashion, sustainability, contemporary use of tradition, and urban regeneration.

A network of events for Made in Italy
Atelier Aperti is part of the official program of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. The initiative is conceived and promoted by Venezia da Vivere, with the patronage of the Municipality of Venice, and is part of the journey toward the thirteenth edition of Venice Fashion Week (October 19–25), among the Major Events of the Municipality of Venice.
